Principle Accountabilities
- Provides overall strategic financial guidance to the company by ensuring that business decisions are grounded in sound financial criteria and also providing insight and analysis to support the CEO and other executives
- Presents timely, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial and management accounts to the CEO and the executives including KPI’s and variable analysis
- Ensures that adequate high standard financial controls are in place and are being utilized in the finance department
- Monitors budgets performance and variance and initiates corrective action
- Ensures the company is financially liquid to meet its obligations by managing cash-flow and monitors and reviews the company’s cash-flow position
- Prepares performance objectives and standards for subordinates, to monitor and evaluate in line with the company’s PMS
- Identifies staff training and development needs to develop competence training plans
- Performs on the job training for all subordinate staff
