Principle Accountabilities
- Conducts regular inspections of the course to identify and address turf health, irrigation needs, and pest management
- Maintains bunkers, including raking and ensuring proper drainage
- Operates and maintains the irrigation system, ensuring all areas receive adequate water coverage
- Monitors and adjusts irrigation schedules based on weather conditions and soil moisture levels
- Implements strategies for pest control and disease management, adapting to changing environmental conditions
- Performs routine maintenance and repairs on golf course machinery and tools
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of maintenance equipment and storage areas
- Works closely with the Grounds Superintendent to implement the annual maintenance plan
- Communicates effectively with other staff and club members regarding course conditions and upcoming projects
- Adheres to all safety regulations and protocols while using equipment and handling chemicals
- Ensures that all work areas are safe and free from hazards
