Principle Accountabilities
- Greets guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming attitude
- Assists guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a seamless experience
- Handles reservations, including booking new stays, modifying existing reservations, and processing cancellations
- Maintains accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software
- Responds to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Provides information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Processes guest payments, including cash, credit/debit card transactions, and invoicing
- Ensures the accuracy of financial transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Liaises with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Communicates effectively with team members to relay information regarding guest needs or special requests
- Addresses and resolves guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively, escalating to management when necessary
- Maintains a calm and professional demeanor under pressure and during busy periods
- Performs clerical duties such as filing, typing, and data entry as needed
- Assists in maintaining an organized and clean front desk area
