Principle Accountabilities

  • Assists in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes following established recipes and presentation standards
  • Supports and trains junior kitchen staff to maintain consistency and quality in food preparation
  • Maintains cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Develops inventory management strategies and coordinates with the Head Chef for stock replenishment
  • Ensures compliance with health and safety policies and reports any kitchen hazards

Requirements

  • Diploma in catering or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in a hotel or related environment
